Palak leads asset management at Transom Real Estate, overseeing performance across a portfolio of operating and development assets. With deep institutional experience in underwriting, credit, and portfolio strategy, she brings financial rigor and strategic foresight to multifamily and mixed-use projects. Her approach integrates data-driven decision-making and ESG principles to drive long-term value creation.
Prior to joining Transom Real Estate, Palak spent four years at Pacific Urban Investors where she focused on multifamily portfolio strategy, reporting, valuations and risk management, while embedding sustainability across a diverse U.S. based portfolio. Earlier, she was with SmartCentres REIT in Canada, where she underwrote complex development, re-development, and intensification projects. Palak began her career at CMLS Financial, specializing in credit lending and risk analysis across a broad range of asset classes including retail, mixed-use, senior housing, multifamily, hospitality, and industrial.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Finance from Queen’s University, with CFA Level II completed. Outside of work, Palak is committed to environmental sustainability, enjoys travel and arts, and actively supports charitable organizations including Cradles to Crayons. She frequently participates in community runs with family and friends to raise awareness and funds for meaningful causes.
